World's Strongest Dad - Dick & Rick Hoyt
First saw the video of the father and son running the race during Metamorphosis Conference 2006. The speaker showed us the video.
I remembered.. it moved me and I cried a little. What encouraged me was the love of the father and the thing that he saw in his child where the doctors couldn't see.. where many would not believe.. he believed. Dick believed that his son can live normally and he held strongly to that belief. He did not just believe, he worked hard to make it come to realization. I admired his perseverence. The road was tough. But he did not give up.
what i typed just now was deleted.. thanks to the "automatically save" system which apparently didn't save anything!!! gah! (or maybe i just dont know anything abt the new system.haa..)
