some updates..18/9Poly Spiritual Multiplier Conference (SMC): Refresh! ---->themeSMC was great! at the same time, really.. Refreshed! They showed a video on a sermon..Gone Fishing- The Challenge of Staying on Missionby Joseph StowellJesus asked Peter 3 times.. "do you truly love me?"I never really understood why Jesus keep asking and what does He mean when He asked Peter this question..but through the sermon.. I begin to understand a little..Jesus is saying that, " I will know that you love me when you care about what I care about" - People! since Jesus also replied "Feed my lambs","Take care of my sheep", "Feed my sheep"It's always about people. That's what He was passionate about.. people who are not perfect.. people who have failures.. He wants them all. (am reminded of myself..)The speaker also reminded us not to say "I quit" to Jesus. (Peter sort of did that)Instead, Jesus reminded Peter of the moment of his call.. the moments he said 'yes' to Jesus. Remembering why he said that.After that was message on discipleship by Ying Kheng.. hee.. always interesting and always involving her stories in Korea, India..(places she went for missions) hahah..super funny.Serene, ah ji they all also there.. Sara went too despite her sprained ankle (encouraged by her).. Serene, ah ji and me were discussing where to go for Gen12ii.. they super excited lar..lol.. ah ji wanted to challenge herself and go EA.. serene also rather keen on EA. haha.Ah ji really hoped we could all go to the same country.. hee.. afterall, we've been through together during Australia mission trip! me? I couldn't decide yet.. so many places.. and most importantly, where does God want to bring me to? Have to start seeking/talking to God abt this.. rekindling the passion for mission.SMC ended rather behind time.. but I'm glad I stayed on :)Even though I'm supposed to meet Chermaine 7.15pm at Dhoby Ghaut =Pto catch Singapore Dreaming.. (as part of our National education thingy.. and we could get one NE point for that.. of cos, with a review and some qns to be answered before we can get the point~) -_-''' heh..Sorry cher.. for being late.. >_<''hee.. and thanks for understanding!
