It's a SUPER BUSY week..This whole week dedicated to Basic Life Seminar.I must say.. it's a Really Good seminar though, despite having to invest time and money.. but I think it's really enriching and worthwhile.I see my perspectives changed each time I went.. (as compared to how they were last time).I am beginning to see a bigger picture of life, and the different purpose God has for each individual.I've learnt to conquer bitterness.. the root to anger, hatred, resentment.. and blah blah. And I got to apply what I've learnt just ytd! haha.. so immediate.. But, I want to thank God for ministering to me throughout the sessions. I am blessed :)Also abit guilty of not being able to revise alot for my common test. [sigh]Well, I guess I'll just revise all I can.. and do my very best. (and of course, by God's grace)Tmr's the last day of seminar.. may kinda miss the seminar..haha. dunno why..maybe it's become such a routine already.. travelling to Bedok and catching bus no.222 to Bethesda Cathedral..just sitting there listening and learning about God's Word..I enjoyed it. =PHave to start adjusting back to school life soon.I'm afraid I may not be able to catch up..It's going too fast..too fast that I think I'm going too slow..Lord, grant me added strength to run this race for You..that I may run and not grow weary. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Today's Fathers' Day!
Hereby wishing all fathers a..
Happy Fathers' Day!!
I want to thank God for my father! Even though at times I get frustrated or irritated by him, he is nevertheless a good father to me. I'm sorry, Lord, for the times when I disliked my father and see him with a plank in my eye. Teach me dear Lord, to love him as who he is, and just like how Jesus loved me as who I am, not by merits. Thank You Lord, that I am not in this family by chance or by accident. And I'm glad to know that it is You, Lord who chosed me and placed me in my family, to be a blessing to them.
This morning's sermon by Pastor Edmund was impactful. God reminded me again that man looks at the outward appearance but He.. looks at the heart. How comforting to know that! Most of the time, we are surrounded by expectations from everywhere, be it expectations from parents, teachers, friends, relatives, church leaders, or even from ourselves. Ever trying so hard to meet those expectations.. and forgotten to be the kind of person that God really wants us to be.
Pastor Edmund took the passage from the whole of 1 Chronicles 28 and 29:1. It talks abt how God had appointed David's son, Solomon, to build the Lord's house and courts. And how father David had submitted everything to God, and passed on the building plans and everything else to his son, Solomon. And David's prayer for his son is that he would be obedient to every command of the Lord.. how wonderful.. :) Ps Edmund also talked abt us fathering over the ppl that God have entrusted to us. Father David also encouraged his son saying: "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished." - 1 Chronicles 28:20
Late afternoon, maine, velle and the rest of the guys planned and discussed abt how are we gg to celebrate our dear Pastor Joyann's birthday.. so the guys went to buy a princess tiara and maine & velle bought chocs. We met at Novena square's Fish & Co. Woohoo~ so fun~ will nv forget how the crew of Fish & Co. helped us in the celebration and the tribal-themed birthday song? hahahah.. maine and velle pointed out that one of the crew clapped the wrong sequence as the rest! LOL super funny lar~ and I missed it. :( the crew are nice & friendly peeps. great service I would say.. except that the orders came a lil' bit quite late (prob cos it's fathers' day and it's during the peak hours?) =P hehe.. Seafood platter for one is so filling.. feel so bloated man but it's nice~ I enjoyed today. :)

Back from CIA(crusaders-in-action) camp! haha.. had much fun and really enjoyed myself during the camp. Got to know more friends from RP and TP. :) heheh.. come to think of it, I missed them already!! =S ahh.. CG4~~ and very well done for the skit! *claps* hahaha.. Noah's Ark: Bollywood style. LOL. We were all speaking with indian accent lar, super funny~ and we won the best skit..the other teams also done very well. Got Da Chang Jin, Hip Hop.. etc. haha.. the da chang jin one funny lar. candice (han shang gong?) super funny sia..nv knew she can act till so funny, and eileen is the huang hou niang niang.. then the Hip Hop one.. char kway teow dun wan hum(cockles) then "mai hum mai hum" (my hump my hump tt song lar) LOL~ super hilarious man! hope they've enjoyed as much as I did. =D
Couldn't join my team for Project X (acts) due to ABC lecture. sigh. But also happy and excited for the rest of them. :) most of them are first-timers.. and tt made me recall the first time during meta, tt i went for Project X. haha. what fond memories.. I am simply terrified initially. But God spoke to me through the worships and message. My heart was then burdened and yet at the same time felt I couldn't do it. And I thank God for Eileen who prayed for me and encouraged me on.. thanks Eileen! It helped much! :)
Yesterday's Project X, they went to seng kang, chinatown, (i forgot), and my team went to city hall. hehe.. and as I'm having my lecture, I felt super excited for them man! sent them an sms and prayed for them. I told God my faith target of at least 3 PRCs for my team. And God is SO amazing! Daniel smsed me of the stats and our team had 4 PRCs and 18 heard the full WYS! And as for the total.. 13 PRCs and 39 WYS!!! Praise the Lord Almighty!!! All Glory be to God! :D
Really thank God for this wonderful camp! I miss the people! T_T
A great and joyful learning experience..
Learnt more about youths, like how we behave and why we behave like that.. learnt how to be a good listener (so impt and applicable to me). :)That we do not just use our ears in listening but our heart and mind too.. especially when I tend to wander off in my own thoughts and not listening wholeheartedly to what the person is trying to say. =P Going for Basic Life Seminar for the whole of next week! Have to sacrifice time and money.. but I'm sure God has greater plans for me! Have to prepare for my common test..(bro nagging liao =P) lots to study~ jia you jia you jia you!
